Men's size

It's so easy!

To take your measurements, the tape measure does not need to be held tightly to your body.

If you don't have a tape measure, replace it with string, which you can measure later.

But no ... a handyman's tape won't do the trick! 

For jackets

If you don't know your French jacket size, it's usually sufficient to measure your chest size (no. 2 on the sketch), from the divide by 2 for example :

You have a bust measurement of 104cm:
104/2 = 52FR = your very own French jacket size!

Choose your French jacket size

and we'll send you the corresponding Austrian size. For example, if you order a French size 52, don't be surprised if you receive the Austrian 50. The French size is then indicated in pencil next to the Austrian.

Attention, For those of you who already have Steinbock jackets or other Austrian or German suppliers in your closet, there's a mistake on the label: it shows the same Austrian and French sizes on the inside of the jacket. But only the Austrian size is correct, so you still have to convert it. For example: their Austrian 56 is not a French 56, but a French 58!

Measure your waist circumference (1 at the deepest part of the waist after normal expiration) divide by 2 and you'll find your pant size to order...

Women's size

To find out your jacket, dress, sweater or blouse size: Take your measurements, then refer to the size charts below. Girth = circumference

The tape measure should not be clamped, but pressed against the body:
1) Chest circumference: Level with the tip of the breasts.
2) Circumference of the underside of the chest: horizontally just below the breasts
3) Waist circumference: horizontal at the deepest part of the waist after breathing out normally.
4) Pelvis or hip circumference: horizontal at the strongest point below the waist.
